Happy Birthday Son

Another scheduled post I'm afraid, whilst my laptop is being fixed. Welcome to SONIA for pressing the follow button, thank you.
Today should be our son's 36th birthday but sadly lost his fight with heart disease nearly 7 years ago We still place a card at his grave He was a zoo keeper and looked after the monkeys Some of his ashes are with his beloved lemurs My husband always writes beautiful poetry and this is the one for this year's card. I kept it all flat because I laminate it to prevent it from the elements for a few days

Ingredients
square cut from the largest die in the Spellbinders large Squares

  1. You've made a lovely card for your son Karen and the verse written by your husband is beautiful. I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your son Karen. He sounds like a very special young man and what a great job he had. We have just booked a holiday with friends in Dorset as we are keen to visit Monkey World after watching the programmes about it on tv. The lemurs are very cute little creatures and they make such a lovely call. Sending Big Hugs, Barbxx

  3. Such a beautiful card and sentiment! I am so sorry for your loss! You son had to be a very special person to choose to work with animals! I think it is wonderful that you still make cards for him! I love lemurs, they are so cute and fun! Sorry your computer is in the shop, it is just the worst to be without one!

  7. Wonderful card Karen, lovely poem too. So sad when you loose a close family member, love to you both. It would have been my Grandsons birthday next week, it is hard but life has to go on. xxx
