Hopefully I will be getting my laptop at some point over the weekend and I cannot wait! I may curse computers in general at work for crashing, being slow etc it's made me realise how much I rely on a oc for my card making
I am grateful that I have been able yo use my husband's tablet but it or blogger is not allowing me to upload photos today!

Limping Along ...

Hello to everyone who's happened to pop in and yes as the title suggests I am limping along - not physically but with trying to use my husband's tablet and viewing blogs on my iPod!
I'll show an oldie of a cake I made about 20-25 years ago and perhaps this time next week I'll a new laptop.
I've at long last ordered some new glasses - which I've needed to do for a while So the laptop is definitely on the back burner for a while. I really miss it because most of my card making is done with Serif. I don't own many sentiment dies and I don't own any stamps Perhaps I need to rethink my craft stash - No don't go there I spend a fortune as it is
It's given me a chance to have a tidy up of my space.
Anyone got any craft ideas for empty CD cases?

My laptop needs replacing and I'm finding it very awkward trying to navigate around an android tablet If any of you have any advice I'd love to hear it e.g. linking to other blogs etc I'm also trying to schedule a few whilst I'm waiting to go shopping

Scheduled Oldie for Fffriday

Another scheduled post. so I cannot link it to Erika's site - Snappycrafts. It's a chance to show case an old project, posted or otherwise. This week was a crafty friend's birthday. I will show the one I made for this year at a later date but thought I'd show the one i made last year. She is a superb embroiderer - is that right! She loves Art Deco and Art Nouveau I hadn't known her for very long at this point

Oldie for Friday

I am still without a pc/laptop So I have decidedly take a short break from blogging I enjoy doing my blog but trying to do it on a tablet is difficult and very frustrating! I can't link or add photos As you can see My post for 11th posted before the 6th August one I will try and keep commenting on your lovely blogs Thank you for visiting and hopefully it won't be too long before I'm back again Most of you know that I rely on my laptop for my card making even if it is only to print the sentiment

Craft Rocket Challenges 21Glitzy Glitter

Hello Everyone

It's a new fortnight for Craft Rocket Challenges and this time around we're looking at Glitzy Glitter. This stumped me at first, I then remembered that I'd seen the sentiment on a card and just knew I had to incorporate in a card for my best friend I have known her since we started senior school. The irony is that I am only two days younger than her. Our birthdays are not until October, but she doesn't look at my blog (I think) . If she does see it, I have plenty of time to make a different one. I think she'll smile at the sentiment because she is such a good sport. In fact, there's a guy that she is still very friendly with (well her husband is) who happens to be three days older than her and we're forever pulling his leg that we're younger than him. Why not have a go yourselves, you have two weeks from today to take part. I'd love to see some familiar names on show
