The card I made this year for the whiskey drinker! And Oscar!

Hello everyone.
Still waiting for my new glasses! So having to swap between two pairs of glasses. How awful fr your husband BARB - having a pair of glasses with the lenses upside down. And SONIA I hope you can make it to AP soon. Although it's the only show I have been to - not many occur near me - it is a fantastic show. Now that Hochanda run it and a lot of the big boys are now on Hochanda it is a great way to see items/samples in "real life"
Dancing was great fun over the week end. Lots of chatting and lots of dancing. This week my husband is off and so I've taken a couple of days off too. Although I feel I cannot disappear up to my craft room whilst he's around - it's me, I feel guilty. So my hands are itching to get back in there!! The Rug Doctor is visiting today - so that should be fun! Who will survive? only time will tell!

Today's card was made for a friend to give to the same gentleman that I'd made the "Whiskey" card for. One of his hobbies is archery. I decided to keep it fairly simple and do an easel card of an archery target thingy. At first my friend couldn't grasp the concept and even though I'd put instructions on how to display it. it wasn't her cup of tea. It was her suggestion to add "arrows" What do you think?

Ingredients
Coloured card from Lidll
Tonic - circle dies
 Sentiments created in Serif
cocktail sticks sprayed silver
White feather coloured with Firework Burst Pixie Powders and trimmed.

  1. I think your archery card is a great idea Karen and the recipient is sure to love it. The arrows do work well.

We both have an eye appointment next week and I've booked a hearing test for me too.... so fingers crossed! Enjoy the time off with your hubby. Barbxx
