Today's Craft Rocket Challenges number 15 is "Flower Power Include Flowers" and this is my Design Team project. I needed to make a birthday card for my sister in law, she loves her garden and so this challenge really fitted the bill.
I chose a Serif "material"and made some flower/roses in colours picked out from the background.colours. The beauty of Serif is that you can re-size the "materials" etc. As I made an 8x8 inch card with depth, I also made a box to house it in. I didn't have any A3 card and so pieced two sheets of A4 together. I then resized the "material" to cover the top. As this matched the card I decided to leave it plain to add a little more impact when the box is opened to reaveal the decorated card - does that make sense!
