My Oldie for Fffriday

Hello Everyone

I hope that you are all well and thank you for visiting. Big apology first, I mentioned Oscar in my last post title and then totally forgot to mention him/post a photo! he is growing fast and changing everyday. he does make my heart swell with pure joy! I love to see him smile and laugh at his favourite toy - Lion or Leo as my husband calls him. he chatters away as happy as larry. The photo at the end of this post was taken about a six weeks ago and just shows what a happy little man he is.I cannot believe he is over 5 months old now!
Today is my day to show an oldie as inspired by Erika at Snappycrafts. It's a time to post an old project whether or not you have previously blogged it. recently I saw a beautiful quilled card displayed on tis blog Cotswold Crafter and remembered my trials at quilling.. I tried it years ago and gave up because my circles were always wonky and never spiralled nicely BUT I didn't have that lovely gadget that's available ow to keep the circles you create in place before you use them. This card was created with a free Serif digikit

Ingredients
5x7 card blank
lilac card embossed with a That Special Touch mask
White card with Phill Martin texture paste - chic viola through the same mask
Image and patterned paper from Serif kit
Spellbinder - Lacey accents border
Sue Wilson Finishing Touches bow
Spellbinder - Deckle edge dies
ceramic flower from my stash

Oscar!

  2. Oscar is such a happy wee cutie, can't believe he's over 5 months.
Thanks for joining me sharing an oldie this weekend. I have quilling stuff somewhere in my craft room bought many many years ago. I didn't get off with it either, no patience and always expecting perfection.
You've done a great job with your card and a lovely colour combo too.
Have a super weekend, hugs Erika. X
