101 birthday card

Hello Everyone
I hadn't realised that I had already scheduled a post for today! So this is a second one for me today
I hope you are keeping well. The weather has got really cold hasn't it. The boiler has broken at work, which makes using a computer quite hard. It may be my arthritis or perhaps because our hands are classed as extremities, the blood doesn't travel as far as our hands more easily...I don't know, but my hands have hurt by the end of the day.
Anyway, mustn't grumble there are one hellava lot of worse things happening

I was asked to make this card fora friend to give to a lady reaching the grand old age of 101! You cannot get cards with 101 can you. Apparently it was very well received and she loved it.
I decided to make the figures quite large and the focal point in case she had difficulty with her eyesight - no, not her! It was her friends that struggled hee hee!

  1. What a beautiful card Karen. I love the colour and all the pretty layers. I don't expect many of us will ever make a 101 birthday card. I bet the birthday girl could tell some stories. A very special card.

Sorry to hear your hands are playing up. I hope the boiler at work is soon mended. Barbxx
