Thank you for visiting and I do enjoy seeing your comments. Welcome to my new followers too. Great to see you and hope you like what you see. LORI. The diagonal die is a lovely die. I think I made hard work of it because I was trying to cut all of the "diagonals" one evening. So the light was not very good and the reflection of the ruler from the light I was using made it quite hard to line up. I have done i since in daylight and it was easy.
Today's card is inspired by Erika at Snappy Crafts It's a great way to look back at our "old" projects and see how we've changed our crafting but also to remind ourselves of techniques we used to do. It reminds me of the memories of the occasion that it was created for. With that in mind I am posting an old card I made for MIL's birthday about 4-5 years ago. She'll be 91 next week!
Off out shopping later with my daughter - she's running out of clothes that fit! We'll probably visit a couple of craft shops too. She knows how to make her mum happy! I'm sorry it's side ways on I am having such problems with my photo editor at the moment and I'm running out of time to mess about. If I can, later, I will try to change it.
I created the "scene" from a MCS cd-rom and added the "lady" decoupage. So a lot of fussy cutting!
What a super picture Karen very 1950s. Have a good day's shopping. Best wishes Jackie x
