Welcome to Lynda, Myra and Jacquie for joining in the dance.
Patricia - I'm finding these Nuvo Crystal drops easier to use but there again they are new pots!
Gail - serif is easy, I love the versatility I can get and I still use bling and stuff
You can probably see from my previous posts I tend to make clean and simple cards and fairly flat ones too for posting. I very rarely use pink. I don't even own any pink clothes! I don't know why particularly but hey ho!
So today's card is me playing with my first love in card making - serif! When I first started card making I began with My Craft Studio cd roms thinking it would be the cheapest option and although I still use MCS, serif is my "go to". But of course as you all well know. That couple of bits and pieces soon accumulate to fill a room. I do a lot of hybrid crafting and for the tag I used SW's Austrian Border set
I'm scheduling this again - appointment in town after work.
Enjoy the rest of your day
See you Saturday
xx

Hi Karen,
ReplyDeleteThis card is so dainty and pretty, I can think of lots of uses for it, which is very handy. I have never used cd roms or Serif, and wouldn't know where to begin, but the effect is certainly lovely.

What a really pretty card Karen I love it. So clean and simple it very effective.
ReplyDeleteI have the Serif Programne but never use it. I also have loads of CDs that never see the light of day.
However I do like and wear lots of pink, purple, blue and turquoise. Oh! and lime green, only colour I never wear or use in crafting is Orange. I love bright colours
Happy Crafting

Karen. Your card is very pretty, and delicate. Love it. Hazel x
ReplyDeleteLove this card Karen and like you don't own any pink clothes and don't craft with pink but might just have to challenge myself now!! Thanks for the info re: Serif - I do use CC CD's but usually just for inserts so I can match the colour to the colour of the card but don't use any other part of the CD which is another challenge to myself !!!! lol xx GailT xx
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card Karen. I have quite afew CD's but never use them, dont enjoy that style of crafting myself but Heyho, same things dont suit all of us. xx
ReplyDeleteHi Karen
ReplyDeleteNice to hear familiar names read out on TV.
I did have Serif on my laptop but deleted it as I never used it.
Your card is very pretty and looks like its been stamped.
Don't wear pastel pink but love a splash of fuchsia.
Best wishes,
Ang x
What a pretty card Karen I love how you have incorporated a smaller version of the flower in the topper. I did try Daisy Trail once but it seemed to mess up my computer so deleted it. Have loads of CDs including MCS but to be honest they rarely get used. having said that, once I have made up my million Hunkydory Kits they can come into their own!! I heard your name on Wednesday then heard my own on John's and then Sue's and was lucky enough to be picked. So chuffed at that. Anyway have a great weekend, Jackie xx
